Chamber Music at FRINGE

ABOUT FRINGE

Fringe is about art—about melding music, film, and visual art to share beauty in a unique way.

Join us for a swift blend of live music performances, visual art gallery, a DJ spinning ambient and electronica, documentary-style videos of the performers and short films selected by the Atlanta Film Festival.  This concert’s live performances will feature pianist Robert Henry, violinist Fia Mancini Durrett and cellist Charae Krueger playing Beethoven’s “Archduke” Piano Trio, Opus 97, and Brahms’ C Minor Piano Trio.  As always, the live performances will be available for download following the concert.

This blending of art is radically different from the usual concert hall experience and ushers in a new era of the classical concert—inviting the audience to engage and truly experience this great art anew.

The 411:
The live event will begin at 8 p.m., with doors (and DJ) at 7 p.m. Audience members are encouraged to come early to mingle, take in visual art and hear the DJ.  Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students in advance and $20/$15 at the door (if available).  For those wishing to lend more support to this worthy endeavor, “pay what you wish” tickets are offered at $25 and $50.  More information about the performers and the series is available at FringeAtlanta.org

Major funding for this concert is provided by the Fulton County Commission under the guidance of the Fulton County Arts Council.
